Drazenka Tubin-Delic
Honorary Secretary
Drazenka graduated as a Veterinary Surgeon in Croatia in 1992 and completed a MSc in Medical Molecular Biology in UK in 1996. Drazenka’s expertise lies in food safety incidents response and crisis management. She has worked both at the national competent authority level and, more recently, in the private sector. Throughout her career, she has dealt with numerous high-level incidents and crises at the national and international level. Her responsibilities include managing food and feed incidents, implementing measures, and ensuring effective stakeholder engagement. She is also responsible for reviewing incidents and crises and ensuring that lessons learnt are incorporated into response plans and procedures.
She has participated and co-ordinated various EU BTSF and TAIEX events for EU and non-EU countries related to crisis management and Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed.
Drazenka has been an active member of VPHA Council since 2012 and she currently holds the position of Honorary Secretary for the Council.
